DOES IT HURT?
No it does not hurt. I use a topical numbing cream before the procedure and a second one during the procedure.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
The procedure takes about 1 1/2 hours to do.
WILL I BE RED AND SWOLLEN?
You will be a little red and swollen. Any redness and swelling will subside a few hours after.
HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT COLOR TO USE?
I will match your eyebrow hair color. Being a hairdresser I love this part, customizing the perfect color!
HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF THEM?
There is a 10 day after care program you will follow to keep them clean. After that you will need to apply sunscreen whenever in the sun.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Microblading lasts anywhere between 1 and 2 years. Oily skin and sun exposure will make them fade more quickly.
DO YOU SHAVE MY EYEBROWS OFF?
No, the existing eyebrow hair is used to shape the microbladed brow or used as the base to fill in the brow.
SHOULD I WAX BEFORE I COME IN?
No, do not wax or thread the eyebrow before the session. The eyebrow will be shaped during the session.
IS IT A REAL TATTOO?
It is a semi-permanent tattoo. The difference being, in Microblading, the pigment is applied to the first (Epidermis) layer of skin and eventually fades. In a permanent tattoo the ink goes in deeper.
